I want to encourage sales of my Kindle book. To do this I am offering (for a limited time only) a RISK-FREE purchase program. Here is how it works:

Step One:   You buy the Kindle eBook version of Close-Hauled before December 15, 2016. The introductory price is $2.99.

Step Two:   Read it. I think most folks will enjoy it.

Step Three:  Decide whether or not you like it.

If you liked it, please go back to Amazon and leave a good review; we authors live for those things and reviews can help others decide if they should buy it or not.

  • If you would like to purchase a paperback copy at a reduced rate ($3.99 off the cover price), send me an email at rob@robavery.com with your name and the date you wrote your review.
  • I will send you a coupon code that will deduct $3.99 off the cover price.
  • Go to the Close-Hauled sales page, buy a copy, and use the coupon code.
  • You will get your signed paperback copy within a week or so. In essence, you get both a Kindle and a signed paperback hardcopy for less than the price of the paperback alone.

If you didn’t like it (it happens; we’re all different people with different tastes), then wait ten (10) days[1] and send an email to me at returns@robavery.com with “Money Back” in the subject line.

  • I’ll respond with some questions[2] about the book and a request for your name and the address to send you your three bucks[3].
  • You get some cold hard cash in the mail.

Why am I doing this? Well, I wrote the dang thing and I think it’s pretty good. I am willing to bet that you will be entertained by it, too. I am so confident in the book that I will back up my product with this guarantee. But this is a limited-time offer and the guarantee will expire on January 5, 2017 for books purchased prior to December 15, 2016.

By the way, there will not be any repercussions if you don’t like my book. You won’t get bumped from my Christmas card list or wake up to find your tires have been slashed. At my age, adulthood has actually crept up and caught me. I’ll still love you for who you are. If you’re okay with that, of course.

[1] Q: What’s with the ten day wait?  A: An Amazon Kindle book purchase becomes final seven days after purchase. So I don’t actually get final credit for the sale for a full week. It’s an Amazon thing.

[2] Q: You have questions?  A: I’m all about getting constructive feedback and improving the product. Your opinion is important to me.

[3] Q: Why three bucks? I only paid $2.99.  A: I’m not writing checks for refunds. I’m just going to toss three one-dollar bills in an envelope and send it off to you. It might drive the IRS nuts but it just seems easier to me. And you come out a penny ahead in the deal. JACKPOT!
