Sim Greene was born in Bakersfield, California. The son of a farmer who struggled to make ends meet, he fell in love with the ocean and joined the U.S. Navy straight out of high school to get out of the San Joaquin Valley and “see the world.”
He spent nearly twenty years in the Navy investigating crimes and performing security work as a Master-at-Arms. He lives alone aboard Figaro, his 39-foot sailboat and, while pursuing his aquatic interests, still finds himself solving crimes.
He likes nothing better than catching a fish in the open ocean and grilling it for close friends. He is also fond of lobster dinners served on the beach at Anegada.
